It’s been an interesting project from every aspect and we have a lot of Moontower firsts to be proud of with this one!

A little more touch up work and some fence and site work still to go but we are closing in quickly!

Moontower + Property Brothers

We are working quickly and in 100% cooperation with the city to complete this remodel for the HGTV show Property Brothers… lot’s of structural acrobatics to pull off some major design moves that will make this low ceiling height house a lot more airy!

The Thompson’s have been a fantastic family to work with and have supported Moontower from day 1.

This phase included reinforcing ceiling joists, spray foam insulation, new electrical plan for improved lighting, sneaky a/c vent locations, custom shiplap wall board, custom interior doors and converting a under-stair closet to a study! We do our best to keep up with the life long vision of the Thompsons, and in the not too distant future we’ll have an incredibly unique, spirited and scenic hill top home to visit in west Austin…

Special thanks to: Stephen King, Ian Didion, Zach Larkins, Marco Ledesma, Charlie Alvarado and everyone else who helped transform the hallways and living room of this special house!
